I thought it might be a good idea for those of you interested to post your specs so we can help the noobs in the group.
I average 60 FPS and a ping of 70ms or so (US server). I would guess that 30-40ms of that lag is due to the server being just down the road from Bob- in Silicon Valley, California. On the WOT US East server my ping is 20-30ms.
I run the graphics on the highest settings and have messed with some overclocking. I ran into some overheating issues (my fans are barely audible), so everything is back to stock clocking.
Internet: Cable hard wired- I ran wireless for a long time, but with family sucking my (our?) bandwidth I punched a hole through the kitchen wall and ran an Ethernet cable to the back of my computer. Presto-chango! No more lag spikes.
Processor: i5 4690K @ 3.5 GHZ- nothing special Ram: 8GB SSD for operating system and game- really helps load times and keeps things quite. Graphics: AMD ASUS R9 280 3 GBs- nothing special 21" 1920X1080 standard LCD monitor- when this blows up or I win the lotto, I will get a gaming monitor.
Hope it helps.
Post your specs and maybe some of the tech guys can help.
Lag (either low FPS or high ping) makes a massive difference in online gaming. If your lag improves (lower ping) or your frame rate increases, I can promise you that you will do better. GLHF!

MSI GT72 Dominator Pro (Laptop) i7 4720 @ 2.6GHz-3.6GHz 12GB RAM GTX 980M (roughly equivalent to desktop GTX 970) 17" 1080P IPS monitor
I run everything ultra and get 50-60FPS on most maps except Narrows in some spots where it drops to 30-40. My understanding on the forums and reddit is that Object Detail setting is what governs the foilage which will tank on some maps that have lots of that. So if you're struggling on one or two maps, knock that setting down a notch or two and you can comfortably run 60+FPS on even Narrows.
I have a fairly steady ~100Ms ping from the East coast, which is normally 20-30 on WoT's East server.

HP tower that has been upgraded from a Core2 Duo to... Core2 Quad @ 2.83 GHz, 12 MB cache EVGA GTX 960sc 4 GB 8GB RAM pc2/6400 21.5" 1080p IPS HP LED screen Cooler Master Seidon 120m cpu liquid cooler Corsair Air Series AF120 blue LED fan 650w Eps12v/Atx12v 8cm Ball Bearing fan PSU Razer Blackwidow Chroma Razer Naga Epic Chroma Razer Kraken Pro 7.1 Chroma I have it v-sync'd to force 60 fps at all times. I run everything on Ultra except for Object Details which I set to medium. CPU usage is only 75% @ 60*C, GPU is 75% @ 75*C. I get 80 ~ 100 ms ping to the NA server with the occasional spike. Hardly ever see lower than 80ms, WoT USE server I get ~20ms. I am not done playing with the Object detail settings yet but even on Ultra I only got drops to 15 fps on the rare map spot. I did IT for 14 years and started when all we had were 286 processors and under. For those with nVidia cards you can also set a few options in the control panel to force extra performance I will try to screen shot my settings for anyone who wants them.

I've actually ran this on two separate PCs and haven't seen any issues getting some decent frames.
The first being on the lower end of the spectrum, an old Dell XPS Studio that I re purposed on the low. Ran the game pretty good on low to medium settings getting an average of 30 FPS. AMD Phenom X4 2.8Ghz Duo Core 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1866mhz ram GTX 750Ti Video card 120GB 840 EVO SSD generic motherboard generic case generic 400watt CPU
My new rig, with some old parts, gets a solid 60+ FPS at 1080p on ultra with the odd stutter, think that's down to optimization though. Intel i5 4590 3.3Ghz Quad Core AsRock Z97 Motherboard 8GB Kingston HyperX Fury 1866Mhz Memory 120GB Samsung EVO 840 SSD ASUS GeForce GTX 750Ti OC 2GB Video Card EVGA 500W Bronze Power Supply Corsair 200R Case
To me the game seems very well optimized across the spectrum for the current state it is in. I can only see it getting better as times goes on and the game progresses further.

I personally would have skipped out on the 1200W PSU for a 700W PSU as your build doesn't use anywhere near 1200W, even OC it can't be hitting more than 900W. I could be wrong on this, but that's what it seems like. Put more money toward a better motherboard that would support faster memory. Love the case, that's a bad ass idea. All and all a solid build, blows mine out of the water, that's for sure.

@frakkedup - Didn't think they would draw that much, my mistake. I'm trying to decide on my next video card, currently have a GTX 750Ti OC and no option of SLI with my current board. Was considering a 950, but I am not sure if it's much better than my current card. Toms Hardware doesn't have it rated much better. have a big enough PSU for a 960 or 970, but the 970s are far to expensive for me.

knagar, I am really pleased with my 960sc card. So far I have never seen games use more than about 1.8GB of the 4GB of RAM on board. It runs fairly cool and does ultra settings well. Doesn't cost an arm and a leg either. I figure it should last me through several years easily.

Just on a side note a really good site to use for finding part, seeing if they are compatible, and comparing prices in one place is ca.pcpartpicker.com/. Used it to build my current rig and it works real well. I found the forums to be very helpful also. Can post your build, build you're considering, and have people give you advice and critique it. Can even select your location so it will find parts at retail stores close to you, and show it in your currency.
