Hi folks! My name is Tigeriron and I met some of you folks the other night on the TS server, Tango, Yoshi, Thunder and a few others whose names escape me (sorry! I have to get an overlay working on TS). I had previously messaged will_toronto on the forums and he told me who to ask for in-game. I would like to join your battalion. I have read the forum page of ground rules for the group.
I live in Hamilton, Ontario and am 51F. I am not working right now due to health issues, but normally I work in computer support. In Toronto I worked at the IBM Moatfield Call Center, and I have worked for Apple Canada. I am also a rabid hockey fan, love my Habs! I am currently single and happy to be so, for the moment.
I have spent the last 2 days furiously grinding during the special event to get a tier 7 wiesel finished, and I almost have enough reputation for my tier 9 token to get the crab. I am buying either the Lav-600 or bmd-4 today. Other than that I have every tank up to and including all the tier 5s. I have tier 6 bradley, centauro, VBL, stingray1, and taifun II in my garage.
I am looking forward to working on my PvP play with you guys, as I need to learn the maps, and where which tank should normally go (ie. good places for spotting in the wiesel). I have done mostly PvE up until now.
I see you sometimes hold "training" nights on a tuesday, is that still happening?
I also have some familiarity with ProBoards, and could perhaps help you guys develop your forums.
